See RPC02/Text and RPC02/Animation.

Major Events

  • Tsumugi transforms into Cure Clubs for the first time.
  • Rattlesnake, Nikaido Hiroyuki, and Madame Fukuda make their first appearances.
  • The following attacks are used for the first time:
  • Clubs beats the Hebinodoku for the first time.
  • Twirl adds the naginata to his arsenal and starts learning spear martial arts.

Trivia

  • Tsumugi's full name is revealed in this episode.
  • Tsumugi's family is hinted to be upper middle class in this episode; it's quickly revealed that her mother's inheritance contributed to it.
  • This is the first episode where Tsumugi forces Saeko into a cosplay.
  • This is the first episode where Coach Navarro does something funny.
  • The music that plays when Hitomi and Tsumugi almost get run over is a 1931 instrumental recording of "A Hot Time in the Old Town Tonight".
  • This episode's Hebinodoku is the first to be actually two monsters: a humanoid abomination that wreaks havoc everywhere it goes, and a comparatively harmless zombie slave who's forced to do a certain activity nonstop via black magic. In order to free the zombie, the original (which bears little resemblance to an actual homo sapiens) must be beaten.
  • This is the first episode where a finisher fails for any reason.
  • This is the first episode where a successful finisher is capped off by a curtsy, as well as one of few episodes where the Cure who performed the finisher curtsies twice (in this case, Cure Clubs curtsies directly to Ribbon as the latter applauds her).
