Altair Private Academy

Altair Private Academy (私立アルタイル学園高等学校 Shiritsu Arutairu Gakuen Koutou Gakkou) is the school attended by many characters in Rhythmic Pretty Cure.

Description

There are three sections of the school: general education, American football, and rhythmic gymnastics. There's a student council office, a library, a hospital wing, a cafeteria, a football field, a television studio, a dance building with a theatre inside, a double gymnasium, and a swimming pool.

Uniform

Each section of the school has its own uniform.

General Education

Female Uniforms

Winter Uniform

The general education uniform is a blue blazer and a white shirt. A thick red ribbon is worn around the neck. The skirt is plaid with green as an additional color. Black tights and Mary Janes are also worn.

Summer Uniform

This uniform has shorter sleeves and ditches the blazer for an optional sweater vest. The tights are also swapped out for knee-length socks.

Male Uniforms

Winter Uniform

The general education uniform is a blue blazer and a white shirt. A red tie is worn around the neck. Khaki pants and Mary Janes are also worn.

Summer Uniform

This uniform has shorter sleeves and ditches the blazer for an optional sweater vest.

American Football

Winter Uniform

The American football section's uniform is dark blue. The military jacket has a turtleneck collar, half circle-shaped pockets on either side, and gold buttons. An undershirt of any color may be worn. The pants are colored black.

Summer Uniform

This uniform uses the same design, but with shorter sleeves, a light blue military jacket, and blue pants.

Rhythmic Gymnastics

The rhythmic gymnastics section of the school has no set uniform, except for classical pink tights and pink ballet slippers (the tights worn to competitions and exhibitions are theatrical pink instead). However, it does have a dress code (to which all the available outfits at the school store adhere). For example, any student who wears a leotard must also wear a skirt, attached or not. The skirt generally matches the leotard, though it isn't required. The tights are optional for students who wear unitards. Bafflingly, students are also allowed to wear tutus, though tutus are strongly discouraged for competitions and exhibitions.

Few students, including Yasu Osaka, wear differently-colored tights and/or ballet slippers. Also, leotards are optional if a student wears a skirt, provided that the student wears opaque (as opposed to the regular semi-opaque) tights and/or matching bloomers under the skirt.
